This policy explains what information akiolife.com (“AkioLife”, “we”) collects and how it is used. In short: you can read everything on this site without an account, and we don’t sell your data.

What we collect

• No accounts, no sign-ups. You don’t need to give us any personal information to read AkioLife.
• Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us (for example by Instagram DM or email), we receive whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply.

Cookies and third parties

• Instagram embeds. Reviews show an image of the Instagram reel. Instagram’s player, and any cookies Meta sets, load only if you press play.
• Affiliate links. Product buy links are affiliate links. When you click one, that retailer may set cookies to record that you came from AkioLife. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
• Analytics. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Our Instagram connection

AkioLife uses Meta’s official Instagram API to read posts from our own Instagram account (@theakiolife) so they can be turned into articles on this site. It does not access visitors’ Instagram accounts or collect information about people who view or comment on our posts.

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, send a DM to @theakiolife. See also our data deletion instructions.

Children

AkioLife is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
